Attitude Talk WIth Jannah!

Today is Friday the 29th of march, and we had someone called Jannah come into our block and she talked to us about different types of friendships that we can have, and how we can act around different people.

First she introduced herself, by telling us her name, and some things about her. Like what her name means. Jannah's name means gracious gift in Arabic. She also told us that she had been to quite a lot of different school in New Zealand, like just girls schools, just boys schools, and mixed. Explained how boys and girls are very different, and how. Jannah was also quite funny, and she had a lot of jokes to tell us.

Jannah explained some things as well that were quite helpful and surprising to know, like different ways to make new friends, or be a good friend/kind to some of the friends that you might have now. She even explained why her hair is so crazy, (Her words not mine.)

She told us what different types of friendships you can have, like girl girl friendships, boy boy friendships, and girl boy friendships. Jannah talked about the different ways that you can be mean and kind or even act other ways. Like how bullying, backstabbing, mean humour, smothering, and showing off, isn't right.

One thing she told us about how girls and boys are different is, boys don't really take friendships that seriously, and girls take them more seriously. Kinda like how on bdays, girls make cards and give presents, and boys just something like, "Hey mate, happy birthday.

I enjoyed this very much and Jannah is very funny as well. Hopefully she will come again one day!
