Task Description:
This task was apart of Te Whare Tapa Wha today. For this task we had to create four different sides and write down what we can do for Taha Tinana at those places.

Adding and Subtracting Decimals

Task Description:
This task was the maths activity of the week, seeing as the year 8's are heading off to camp soon. For this task, we focused on adding, and subtracting decimals fractions to 2 decimals places. I learnt a lot from this task, and enjoyed it.

Angles and Degrees Maths T2W4

Task Description:

This task was based on degrees and angles. We answered questions about right angles, obtuse angles, and more. This was a pretty fun task, and I am glad that we got to learn about degrees and angles this week.

My Visual Mihi

Task Description:
For this task we had to create a Visual Mihi, not really showing things that we like, but things that represents us. For example, Music represents me because I love music, playing music, and also listening to it, it's a part of me. Just like how my Family is apart of me as well, because I am apart of my Family. Group Dimic Work

Task Description: For this task we had to get into one big group to do some Group maths work with Mrs Ilaoa. Once we got into one big group, we had to get into little groups of 2. In my group was Deborah. I saw a lot of answers to the questions which I found both challenging, and good. Above this is the work that Me and Deborah managed to do in this lesson. Homework Writing: My Family Hero, Grandma

My Family hero that I have chosen to write about, is my Grandma. I was born not long after she passed away, so I don't really remember much about her. Grandma is my Dad's Mum and she was a beautiful, kind, compassionate, generous woman. Everyone loved and still loves her to this day. The memory of her is still alive and it's been past down to me through stories and songs. I love my Grandma and miss her but I know she's in a better place.

Grandma raised 10 children including my dad. Their house was always filled with lots of people, and she always managed to feed every person, and make them feel really welcome. At Grandma's funeral, I was told each person who spoke thought that they were her favourite. She just had a way of making everyone feel super special, welcome, loved. I hope to one day be like her by making everyone feel loved and happy. Even though I didn't really get to talk with her or meet her properly. I think that she was an amazing person/mother/woman and she will be loved for ever.
