Art Alive Rotation: Alberto Giacometti T4W3

Task Description:

This task is apart of art alive (the inquiry theme for this term.) For this task (since we are doing class rotation,) we went to Ms Tapuke's class and learnt about Alberto Giacometti.

Adding and Subtracting Decimals

Task Description:
This task was the maths activity of the week, seeing as the year 8's are heading off to camp soon. For this task, we focused on adding, and subtracting decimals fractions to 2 decimals places. I learnt a lot from this task, and enjoyed it.

Geomatry Mats

Task Description:
This task included making shapes on a website, and counting the numbers of cubes sed in that shape. At the end of the presentation, we had to make a video explaining, and answering the questions. I did make a video, but was not able to get it onto the slide, insted, I put my 'script' for the video on the presentation, and a picture of me.

Reading T2W3

Task Description:
This task included spliting words into word groups, writing down what we knew about the earth's structure, and what we now konw about the earth's structure.

Group Dimic Work

Task Description: For this task we had to get into one big group to do some Group maths work with Mrs Ilaoa. Once we got into one big group, we had to get into little groups of 2. In my group was Deborah. I saw a lot of answers to the questions which I found both challenging, and good. Above this is the work that Me and Deborah managed to do in this lesson. Visual Mihi

Description:
For this task team 5 had to draw parts of what represents us. This is my visual mihi. So the top left picture is there because I like to read the Bible, go to Church and pray. The second picture on the top right represents my Family because I love them. The flags represents my culture, and the last one represents how I love to relax and watch some movies, Netflix and play/listen to music. The middle picture, the last one, represents me because it's a drawing of me.
