On our trip to the South Island we went for a walk in the middle of a rain forest in Lewis Pass. Lewis Pass is a beautiful place. As we were walking I stopped to look at a tree with colourful leaves and flowers on it. Then I took a photo with a camera. I turned around and the group was gone. I started to panic and I became really scared. I thought about running but then I decided to stay. I decided to stay because if I ran I could be even more lost and the group would not find me in the same spot where the tree would be. Suddenly I heard a familiar giggle and then heard the group shout surprise. The group were hiding. I was so happy to see them. I said I knew you wouldn't leave me behind. We all left laughing together.
What a great little story Jedida! I wondered how you would finish this one off. I love how you have obviously used the Thesaurus that Aunty Sally showed you. You are increasing your vocabulary a lot and I love it!
