My Goals for a New Term
Walt: Use correct sentences to help structure our writing.
It’s a new term, the last term of the year, term 4. But that means that the holidays have ended. The name of the theme to this term is Te Wa Toi which means Time For Art. Art can include, painting, drawing, creating, colouring and learning new things.
This term, our school have some events happening. There are quite a lot like year 6 camp, prize giving, athletes, film festival, testing, reports and art! I am very excited for that, and a lot of people are excited for all of them too. That’s what makes some of this term, exciting.
One of the goals that I hope to achieve in term 4 is to improve my writing. What I mean by writing, is to spell better, and improve my punctuation. Another goal that I hope to achieve is to learn more of my mihi so that I can say it more everywhere and anywhere that I need/have to.

I hope that this term we will be able to have Te Wa Toi: time for art and I can’t wait. I’m looking forwards to all the things that are happening this term like year 6 camp, the film festival and doing/creating art, I am also hoping to achieve some of my goals, and t learn about different things too. Term 4 is going to be great, I can't wait.

For this term, we had to write about term 4, the new term. We wrote about our goals and expectations. We also learnt how to write a proper conclusion. I did had trouble coming up with goals that I have.
