A long While back there was a taniwha but he only came out in the night time. When it was day time there was a little boy named Tamarereti. He was going fishing because he was hungry for something to eat. so he went into the waka to go fishing he got three large fish. Tamarereti fell asleep in his waka .
The wind blew him to the other side of the land. He cooked his fish. and he through the glistening pebbles that he found on the ground on his waka then he threw the glistening pebbles into the sky.
The wind had blown Tamarereti and his waka back to Tamareretis home.
The next morning Tamarereti woke up and Ranginui was right there. Tamarereti thought he was going to be Punished for chucking the pebbles into the sky, but Instead Ranginui said Now my sky looks beautiful.
