It was pretty amazing to see the ...Kia ora Jedida,<br /><br />It was pretty amazing to see the way that the local community banded together to try and save the whales, wasn't it? I can't imagine how difficult it must have been to try and save the large pod of whales that became beached at Farewell Spit. It is wonderful to read that they were able to save, at least, eight of them.<br /><br />I hope that all eight whales stay far out at sea from now on. I must admit that one of my all-time favourite experiences was watching whales swim past us while our family was staying at a hotel in Tonga. It was late July and a family of six whales came swimming by. You could see them jumping and splashing in the water. It was magical!<br /><br />Have you ever seen whales swimming in the wild? <br /><br />Keep up the great work with your blogging, Jedida.
